Weekend in Tofino

A long weekend in Tofino provided opportunities to immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of the west coast of Canada. The open ocean provided waves for those who surfed and an ever-changing beauty for those who remained ashore. Every slight alteration in the weather brought a completely new look to the beach. Away from the shore, the trails of Pacific Rim National Park gave us a taste of the towering cedars of the old growth forest, branches dripping with moss.
