Journeys

This week, I made my first visit to the botanical garden at the University of British Columbia. This wonderful garden is lower on the radar than its flashy cousin, the Van Dusen Botanical Garden, but it has made great strides in recent years, and is really amazing. We viewed the forest canopy from the suspended walkway, and then walked beneath the same trees, where I took this photo of the sunlight piercing through to the undergrowth below.
