Our summer trip to Alaska, coming hard on the heels of our cross-Canada road trip, meant that we really did spend most of the summer on the road. It also meant that we missed the optimal time of year to visit Alaska. But the travel gods smiled on us and we got gorgeous weather and stunning fall colours. It was hard not to take great photos: every time we pointed our camera at something, it was amazing.
